Tourist
eVisitor (for most EU and some others) and ETA (for select nationalities via mobile app) allow short stays, commonly up to 3 months per entry. Visitor (subclass 600) is available for others or longer stays.
Business
Business Visitor streams exist for short activities; paid work requires sponsored work visas.
Student
Subclass 500 requires a Confirmation of Enrolment, sufficient funds and health insurance; work conditions apply.
